I believe, surgeons are doctors primary professional function has to do with these correction for illness, abnormality, or injury through modification of body. We not only at perform procedures, but also the diagnostic, planning, training, and surgical aftercare is necessary to ensure patients have proper support throughout the surgery and recovery process.

I try to be a compassionate doctor who always considers my patients’ needs and comfort levels during diagnosis and treatment and works to ensure they have the best possible experience. I ensure that patients understood their diagnoses, received relevant information about possible treatment options, and decided on the best treatment plans for their needs. I oversee every step of surgeries from the initial planning to the recommend aftercare instructions.
I think that management of difficult surgical cases is best done in a team setting. We should seek a second opinion when required. This multidisciplinary philosophy engenders a climate of co-operation and team building among colleagues.

General Surgical experience

I worked as a General surgeon for 4 years (2011-2014). Over 4 years my exposure at Mitford Hospital, Dhaka Medical College hospital has been invaluable in providing exposure to aspects of general surgical practice. I had the honor of working under eminent Professors like Prof (Rtd.) Syed Mahbubul Alam, Prof (Rtd.) Hashem Bhuiyan & Prof. Imtiaz Faruk. I am working in BIRDEM General Hospital since January 2018 with Professor. Samiron Kumar Mondol who this renowned laparoscopic general surgeon. Have most learned routine general surgeries laparoscopically.

Colorectal Surgical experience

I am working as full time colorectal surgeon since 2015. I had the honor of working with the first colorectal surgeon of Bangladesh Prof. Dr. AKM Fazlul Haque. Together we doing are the highest number of colorectal operations not only in Bangladesh but in world. Every day we see about 80 to 100 patients. We do 15 to 20 anorectal operations for piles, fissure, fistula, pilonidal sinus. We commonly pelvic operation for obstructed defecation syndrome like STARR or ventral rectopexy. We also do the highest number of colorectal cancer operations in Bangladesh.
